Though you may have to wait until the end of the month to get your hands on a copy of the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II game, those eager to continue the story of Starkiller can get a head's start at the bookstore. The Force Unleashed II story has been adapted into fiction as a novel, audio book and graphic novel, and all three are available this week.
The novelization arrives on October 5th as a hardcover release by Del Rey Books. Written by Sean Williams -- the New York Times bestselling author of the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed -- from a story by Haden Blackman, this book tells the single "historical" version of the game's story. Random House Audio also releases Sean Williams' The Force Unleashed II novel on October 5th, as an unabridged audio book on CD. Actor Jonathan Davis reads the story, which features Star Wars music and sound effects.
For the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II graphic novel, Dark Horse Comics is telling an original story set during the events of game. While it does not re-tell the story of the game, it does build upon it, with an angle that focuses on Boba Fett.
The Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II graphic novel is an 88-pages trade paperback written by Haden Blackman with art by Omar Francia.
